The Jews a rebellious people

All that Deedat has done here is demonstrate that he has no understanding of what the Bible is about. Yes, the Jews were continuously rebellious against God. The whole story of the Old Testament is the Jews failing and then a bit of redemption only for them to fail again. Today the Jews are still in rebellion against God because they have continued to reject their Messiah, Jesus, but the prophet Zechariah tells us that they finally turn back to God and recognise Jesus as their Messiah and saviour. “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.” Zechariah 12:10.

The good thing about it is if God can forgive the Jews then he can forgive us as well – praise God.
